2024-2025 Safe and Inclusive School Plan

Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

We are continuing our  focus on regulation strategies. These strategies will build feelings of safety among students and staff, which will provide more consistent opportunities for learning to occur.

“As an Educator if I am not aware of my own nervous system, I cannot attune to a student’s nervous system when they need this the most.” ( Dr. Lori Desautels)

• Throughout the year, we will be:​

  1. Facilitating workshops on healthy relationships.​

  2. Engaging with our community partners and families/guardians about fostering healthy relationships.​

  3. Acknowledging positive acts that build healthy relationships within the school community and beyond.
